Quick and Easy Bodybuilding Recipes
You are a bodybuilder or at least try to be one but after a while of eating that same food you get very bored and depressed about what you eat. You need to make some changes and create your own recipes but the thing is that there aren't many cook books for bodybuilders. In this article I will try to show you some delicious recipes which will make your body burn those calories and grow those muscles.
Protein rich pancakes: This is like a normal pancake but instead of flour you will use 200 grams of protein powder. The other things you need are: 3 glasses of mineral water, two eggs and some oil. You mix the eggs with the water and the proteins until you obtain a thick liquid and then you start baking them as you would do with normal pancakes. You will obtain about 12 pancakes (this depends on how big the pancake's size is). You can put jelly or marmalade on them and if you want to lose weight you should try putting some diet marmalade or some low fat cheese. They can be also very delicious if you add a mix of chocolate protein powder and milk; some fruits will add freshness and your stomach won't feel bad after eating that much protein.
Chicken and mushrooms: This recipe will give your body a lot of proteins because mushrooms have almost the same amount of proteins as the meat. You will need: a cup of soup, 2 pounds of chicken, 2 pounds of mushrooms, salt and a cup of flour. You remove any fats from the chicken and boil them, after they start boiling you put some spices and boil them until the meat becomes flabby. You put the soup and the mushrooms to boil and regularly add flour; after the chicken is well made you throw the water and put the mushrooms sauce on it and boil them for about 15 minutes.
Protein pudding: You will need some pudding powder, 40 grams of sugar, and 100 grams of protein powder and 1l of milk. You mix the protein powder with the milk; you mix the pudding 250 milliliters of water and the sugar and start boiling them. When they reach the boiling point you mix the milk and the protein powder with them and stir continuously. The sliminess depends on what type of protein and pudding you use but you should try it once and see if you like it. I think it's a great healthy desert.
Tuna salad: The tuna salad is a very healthy choice for growing muscles or losing weight. You will need: a can of tuna, some green salad and 3 spoons of vinegar. Wash the salad carefully, cut it in small portions and put it in a bowl. Add the can of tuna and the vinegar and mix. You can also add some boiled eggs or onions. The nutritive values will be: 27 grams proteins, 2 grams fats (it's higher if you add eggs), and 2 carbohydrates. This is a perfect salad for those who are following a low carb diet because it has lots of proteins and only 2 carbohydrates.
Pasta and cheese with eggs: If you are not following a low carb diet this recipe is perfect from time to time. You will need: 100 grams of low fat cheese, 100 grams of pasta, two eggs, a cup of flour and butter. First you boil the pasta with salt. You take them out after they are boiled and put them under cold water. You make a mix from the cheese, egg, flour and butter; make sure you mix them well. You put the mixture on the pasta and put them in the oven. You leave them for 20 minutes. This recipe is not recommended for those who want to lose weight because it contains a large amount of carbohydrates and you don't want to risk eating more than you burn.
High protein cream perfect for desert: You need 200 ml of milk, one egg and 25 grams of sugar. You boil the milk and then you wait until it gets a little cold. You mix the egg with half of the quantity of sugar and then with the milk. You make some caramel from the rest of the sugar and mix it with the milk and eggs. You put it into the oven in another recipient filled with water and bake it for about 30 minutes. The final product will be a wonderful high protein cream without that much sugar.
Chicken soup with mushrooms: If you have the desire for a good soup I recommend this soup. Bodybuilders will love it because it is high in proteins and has an excellent taste. You need 100 grams of mushrooms, celery, parsnip, an egg, a cup of yogurt, and 100 grams of chicken. You cut the mushrooms, wash them good and boil them. While boiling the mushroom you put the celery and the parsnip you previously cut in small cubes. After boil you blend them all and mix them with the yogurt and eggs. In another pot you boil the chicken. After the chicken is well boiled you cut it and mix it with the mushroom soup. You serve this with toast or fresh vegetables.
Beef and peas: This is a healthy low fat recipe you can use if you are in the phase to of the Atkins diet or in a less strict low carb diet. You will need: 100 grams of beef, 150 grams of peas and 10 grams of butter. You remove any visible fat and boil the meat with salt. You wash the peas and boil them too in a separate pot. After boiling you mix the meat with the boiled peas and add the butter. You will serve it with fresh vegetables.
You can make your own recipes if you find out which is the healthy food. Search on the internet or in the nutrition magazines and you can see which food is the suitable for your diet. You can also buy a bodybuilding cookbook. Every recipe means using your imagination. Don't forget to serve it in nice bowls or plates because the visual effect has a great impact on our diet.
